Just Taking Time to say Thank you!

As always this time of the Year... We the Davis Bike Club Race Team want to take the time to wish you and your Family's a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
.
It is an important time of the year when all the seriousness of Bike Racing be placed on the back burner for a while, and we all focus on spending time with your family. For this is going to be the same family that supports you during the Bike Racing season.

Our Team has again grown this year, and we are all looking forward to a Great 2010! We once again want to take the time to say "Thank You" to Robin and all his hard work that he has done for the Team the last couple of years, and we want to say "Welcome" to Jason and Michele. We are all looking forward to their leadership for the next couple of years.
.
As I had posted previously, we all take a lot of things for granted when being a part of a Team the size of ours. I can't tell you how much, and how hard the Board of Director's works behind the scenes to try and make things flow smoothly for the Team.  From the Meeting's, to events like the Davis 4th of July Crit, to the Dunlop Time Trial, , helping with the Foxy Fall Century , Jason's and Teams unbelievable amount of work they did for the Tour of California's Juniors Crit, to Shawn and Mike's time with the Junior's Team, to all of our new Captain's that are spending a lot of time putting together their Teams for next year, to Joaquin and Kevin's support of the amazingly successful Davis Bike Club's Skill'z Clinic, to Rod's putting together things like the Team rides,  all the time spent by Darin S. and Mark H.  finding and getting company's to help sponsor our Team for 2010, Michele and her hard work to our ever growing Women's Team, and I could go on and on, and I hope I haven't missed something important!

We just had to take  the time to welcome all of our new members, and say welcome back to our returning ones. 2010 looks again like it's going to be an amazing year. Please if you are ever asked to help, try and find a little time to support a great cause, and a Great Team.

Ciao and Out... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
