Hey DBC Masters... Just a post to remind you that this weekend is Daylight savings time.
(Remember Spring Forward). Also a couple of notes as to what is happening, and some changes that are coming along. Starting this Saturday, the Saturday Morning Ride is being moved up to a 8:00am start time. Meeting place is at the front of the Davis Wheel Works (247 F st). Second we are going to start the Tues/Thurs Evening Rides (March 10th). This ride is about 40+miles, and is a P5/P6 ride (Hard 20mph+). Terrain is (T1) Flat. We will meet at the usual starting spot on the back side of Sutter Davis Hosp. (Covell and the Frontage rd. (John Jones) across from the Starbucks). Rides are starting at 5:30pm until further notice when they will move to a 6:00pm start time. As an option the Freund Family ride which has been going on all winter will continue. Their ride starts at 5:30 at the corner of Lake and Russell (Also a P5/P6/T5 hills ride). For all you Time Trial type's we have be told that the Wednesday Putah Creek Time Trail will be starting on March 18th. This is a flat 10 mile TT (5 out/5 back). You can call Davis WheelWorks for details. Also as another option you can attend the Aggie Team Ride on Tuesdays. They meet on the UCD Campus. Start time is 3:15 at the ASUCD Bike Barn. Well Masters there you have it, the season is in full force, and the longer days will certainly make getting out in the evenings a lot easier. We hope to start seeing our old Teammates again, and REALLY looking forward to seeing our new Teammates out on these rides.
