Well, Steve-0 as we affectionately know him (A.K.A. Dr. Nowicki to some) has more going on than anyone I know! When he, and his wife Kelly (superstar cyclist with Touchstone Cycling Team), are not working with Special Olympics Kids in our community, or the BORP program , he's in his medical office in Davis helping kids (and their parents) in our region...or getting goof-balls like ME appointments with the doc to look after my broken bones.......for he is a Pediatrician, specializing in pediatric behavioral and developmental disabilities....and he's one of the few experts in this medical field in the region. He looks after children with speech and language impairments, learning disabilities, mental retardation, ADHD, autism, and emotional/behavioral disturbances.
As a member of the Woodland Healthcare program (yes, I've recently spent more time there than I had ever wished!), I was exposed to their recent report/magazine that featured our very own Steve-o on the cover... (see below)...just look at this doc!....I would have thought that this was the GQ mag or something! He's even got his DBC Masters bracelet on! Not to mention the stethoscope in is hands...he is one serious DOC!
BUT....just look at him with one of his patients (kids)! Look at that smile! The kids and their parents are so lucky to have Steve helping them through difficult times!
Please join me in giving a big shout out to our fellow DBC Masters racer and friend for his compassionate care of the children of our community! You make us proud Steve!

he's my kids doc and I wouldn't have it any other way... especially because he looks so GQ on the cover of the magazine.
Everyone already knows Steve's my hero when it comes to HTFU'n...
As I had stated before he never says I can't do it. He just does it.
If his kids are a recipient of this
kind of drive, they are in the best hands in the world.
Ciao Amigo... Great honor, and glad
to be your friend.
Best looking, nicest guy, fastest TT'er, and most willing to HTFU or drill it for a teammie. And you should see him around his kids. My hero too.
