Thanks to all of you who attended our first DBC Race Team Meeting of the 2008 season this evening. A great turn-out for sure! I didn't do a head-count, but my guess is that there were at least 50 in attendance!
We would like to thank Jeff Wu for giving a FANTASTIC presentation on the rules of road cycling! A lively presentation with lots of good questions and answers! Thanks so much Jeff! Oh, BTW.... it was confirmed....'head-butting' is NOT allowed in any form of road cycling! We will have to revise our race plans for this coming
year..... ;-]
In addition, we would like to thank Mark Adkison (DBC Member and
super photographer) for his impromptu provision of two of his FABULOUS high quality mounted photos of professional cyclists in action that were included in our 'door prize raffle'! I'm sure the recipients of these photos are already admiring them hanging on their walls!
